The Mind and Spiritual Growth

Spiritual growth requires the renewal of our mind so that we can know the true God and discern his will (Romans 12:2).  Christian faith is grounded in real knowledge about the real world, thus Christian faith is always a faith seeking understanding.  In order to develop a Christian mind equipped to know and follow God and to share with others the reasons for the faith, hope, and love we find in Christ, we need to know God's revelation in the Bible, the Christian beliefs and doctrines that emerge from the history of Christian reflection on the Bible, and the many rational reasons that show the Christian faith to be the true story of the world.  Click the buttons below to find out more about these three areas of knowledge.
